Volunteer opportunities

The Mercado. We are always seeking volunteers for shifts on Wednesdays and/or Saturdays for those who are interested in donating their time and talents. Spanish-speaking is extremely helpful, but not required. The Mercado is our “food pantry” where we also distribute a few basic home essentials (such as heaters in the winter, fans in the summer) and hygiene products.

Amigos Mentorship Program (AMP). Amigos is excited to be launching Amigos Mentorship Program (AMP) this fall 2023. Our mission is to support 9-12 th grade students as they explore and pursue post secondary opportunities like trade school, community college, University or certification programs. Please contact us for more information on how you can help our students grow and succeed.

Annual Coat Drive. Held every year before Thanksgiving, we offer a huge selection of winter coats for all ages and sizes. Our customers are invited to the Mercado on the Saturday before to receive groceries and a coat of their choice, for everyone in the family.
